The 1893 Columbian Exposition was  known for its grand vision into the future. It introduced a long list of new products that remain on shelves to this day. Among them were lights powered by electricity thanks to Nikola Tesla.  The work Columbian Exposition transformed night skies across America and would soon shape the future, but it was Thomas Edison who developed the first useful light bulb for consumers.
